About the Artist…
Hello there, my name is Jordan and I’m so excited to be your Lash Artist! I started my journey into the beauty world in 2012, during my senior year of High School, where I attended the EVIT cosmetology program. After my graduation, I moved onto the Brillare Beauty Institute, where I obtained my cosmetology license and left with a passion for making people feel beautiful! I found happiness doing hair, but it wasn’t until I did my lash technician training in 2019 that I truly found my place in the industry! After my one on one week long training, I took my first model and my instructor helped me through that first set. Though it wasn’t my prettiest set, it will always be my proudest.
I created High Sugar Lashes in February 2020, getting my first true clients in just before the pandemic and pregnancy kept me home and practicing on whatever, and whoever, I could. I had my son in October of that year, and by November I was taking Holiday lash clients! I’ve been in a studio as a full time Lash Artist since January 2021 and I have been in my current salon home since November of 2021. Now, coming in 2025, I’m so excited to announce High Sugar Studios! A suite of private studios where I hope to help others find their place and passion in the beauty industry.

How Long does a full set/fill take?
Ultimately, this answer will depend on how dense your natural lashes are. Lash extensions, when applied properly, are secured to each individual eyelash with an adhesive that is safe for use near the eyes. Using tweezers the natural lashes are separated and isolated, oftentimes this process takes the longest. To ensure a strong and safe application it is important to take the time and make sure no two lashes are stuck together. For a full set I recommend a minimum of 3 to 4 hours, and for fills 2 hours, an hour for each eye. This may seem like a long time, but look at it as pure beauty sleep!
How can I care for my lashes at home?
The best thing about caring for your lashes is that it’s simple! Keep them clean and keep them brushed. I recommend washing before bed with a non-oily, foaming soap, rinsing with warm water and patting dry gently, or fanning, before brushing and fluffing them back out.
Why might my eyes feel irritated after getting lashes?
Eyelash Adhesive contains two big potential allergens and irritants, one of these is the carbon black and another is the cyanoacrylate. These can be avoided by using a clear glue or an ultra sensitive glue. However, if there are no allergies present, I find that as long as the eyes remain closed during application and a fan is used to clear any fumes before opening, we can eliminate that irritation.
